PADDLE MIXER

The Molenbouw paddle mixer is a solidly welded construction made from carbon steel with a STAINLESS STEEL cylinder. The mixer has a round shape to prevent product residue in corners. The paddles in the mixer are made from STAINLESS STEEL. The ends of the main shaft are supplied with scrapers to keep the end plates clean. The main shaft entrance in both end plates is supplied with adjustable seals and supplied with compressed air flushing. The main shaft is fitted with oversized bearings.

The paddle mixer has one entrance in the centre of the cylindrical part. It has an exit over almost the full length of the cylindrical part. The mixer is therefore emptied residual-free. The seal of the base valve is dust tight by means of a rubber profile.

On the paddle mixer, two connections have been fitted for aspiration. For connecting the aspiration between the mixer and the top and bottom bunker, Molenbouw can advise you on how this can be designed in the best way for your circumstances.

The paddle mixer is designed for a maximum liquid addition of 5%. This value depends partly on the type of liquid and the kind of product. Partial charges up to 25% can be mixed in the paddle mixer.  Dosing liquid is then no longer possible.

The paddle mixer is supplied with one or two drives. The output of the drive depends on the process data. This is determined in conjunction with the client.
